Helen Baxter is Managing Directrix of Mohawk Media, producing animation, infographics and web-friendly video.
She has taught Professional Practice at design, film and media colleges across New Zealand and the UK, and as a Teaching Fellow for the School of Design at Victoria University, Wellington.
Helen is an advisor to Creative Commons Aotearoa, judges the Yahoo NZ Digital Strategy Awards, Wellington Startup Weekends, is a mentor for XMedialab, and a co-founder of the League of Pragmatic Optimists.
She is an international speaker, and technology commentator for TV and radio, including three years on Virtual World for Radio New Zealand, National.
Helen was one of New Zealand’s first international teleworkers as founding Editor of KnowledgeBoard, a Knowledge Management community run by European Commission. The site won the Best on the Web KM portal from the Harvard Business Review in 2002.
